EFFICIENCY GAINS FOR FLEET & MECHANICS

The Fleet & IT Teams worked together to have a very successful implementation of HCSS E360. This implementation included the configuration of work flows and importing fleet data into E360. E360 is an application that digitizes pre-existing manual processes in Fleet for creating Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, Vehicle Work History, and Time Collection.  HCSS E360 also has the capability to do “voice to text” which eliminates the need to type in information manually. Overall the software supports better communication and transparency for Fleet and Mechanic team members.

The training for the mechanics is now complete. To get an idea of how this new program is beneficial-please review the feedback provided by Andrew Krezel, Mechanic in Cherry Hill when we asked him some questions about E360.

Andrew, how has this new process and software impacted your day?

Work orders, time cards, documentation, and technician notes are all available on one screen, in one application. It’s user friendly nature also makes it easy to use, and doesn’t require much time to fill out time cards or document repairs.

What were the biggest challenges prior to implementation?

Vehicle repair history and information was unattainable through the old software, making it difficult, if not impossible at times to research a vehicle’s repair history.

What is one of the biggest insights/efficiencies that were gained since implementation?

With the click of a button, complete vehicle and work order history are available to any technician instantaneously, eliminating the need of hunting for paperwork or unnecessarily repeating troubleshooting. Having the vehicle’s repair history at our fingertips allows us to streamline our repair process.
