Recipe Tips – Zoodles

Constantly repeating what you make for dinner every night? Can’t seem to come up with a new dish to make? Try something out of your comfort zone!

Many people get stuck trying to come up with a new ideas for their meals. It almost seems impossible to come up with a bunch of healthy dishes on top of it all. Try to think a bit differently than you’re used to. With the right recipe you can enjoy the same plate you normally do, but with a healthier spin. Instead of a high carbohydrate dinner such as eating pasta, try making or buying zucchini noodles as a substitute. (White Noodles have about 42 grams of carbs while zucchini has about 10.)

Zucchini has many wonderful qualities for our every day health.

  • They are high in water, electrolytes , and fiber which is helpful with digestion stated by Food Revolution Network.
  • Their large amount of potassium is great for circulation (512 mg).
