Riggs Distler provides a broad range of services centered on the construction, inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy facilities to support the growing renewable energy markets.
Aries Linden Biosolids Gasification Plant:
Riggs Distler provided turnkey heavy civil, mechanical, and electrical services in support of an Aries Clean Energy project to construct a biosolids gasification plant at an existing sludge processing plant in New Jersey. This plant will be serving the largest metropolitan area in the US – The New York metropolitan area – and it will divert 130,000 tons of biosolids from landfills annually. It will be the lowest cost option for biosolids disposal in NY/NJ Metropolitan area.

Medford Solar:
Riggs Distler completed three solar power facility developments on behalf of several clients in central New Jersey in one central location. The projects were completed during different mobilizations and different seasons, requiring fast response and adaptable scheduling by our project managers and field crews.

Green Lots
Riggs Distler is currently working with a major gas and electric utility in Maryland to engineer, procure, and construct electric vehicle charging stations throughout the state. The charging stations will be installed on government properties as part of the EVsmart Program, a joint effort by Exelon utilities to improve air quality. The EVsmart Program aims to have 300,000 zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2025.
Supporting Sustainability at the Local Level
Local community group Sustainable Audubon wanted to use renewable energy to power their utility shed in Audubon Family Park. Jeanne Mugler, Environmental Health & Safety Analyst for Riggs Distler & SA member, tapped our Helping Hands team to support the project this winter.
